Collection: Spicules

Spicules are tiny, needle-like structures made of silica or calcium carbonate, taken from the skeleton of a sea sponge. They create micro-channels in the skin to help ingredients absorb better and encourage cell turnover. I recommend them for fading PIH and calming PIE — the brown and pink marks acne leaves behind — and they're great for correcting sun damage. Also appropriate for melanin-rich skin. Korean skincare has been using this ingredient for years.
